- Her good friend and how her dad wasn’t ready for a baby when she was born so she only has a mom, never met her dad before.
- “Bonding” while baking - the nine months a baby is cooking inside mom and how she bonds with the baby on a different level than the dad does.
- How her aunt doesn't want to play with her anymore since she had a baby. It's always "go play with the baby, go play with the baby.". And I thought, Uh, get it out of your system sweetie, it may be a little tough when we have one too.
- War in Iraq – Yes, the war in Iraq, and how other countries don’t have it as good as us, the ability to go to school, to drive, to go out to dinner… she suggested that those people just move to America.

Aren't kids fun to talk with! They do come up with some thought provoking things. You should get a journal and write in it the things she says or does so she can read it when she's older. Kids LOVE that kind of stuff AND it will show her ( when she's older ) how important she is to you. Kids are really intertaining but it's impossible to remember all the cute and funny and off-beat things they say and do when you're "older"

So the first entry, other than a picture of the first haircut she's given herself, was the story of after we moved in our new house and she met all these new friends...
They decided it would be fun to put EVERYTHING they could reach, down the laundry shoot from the second floor.
Yep... that's a good one. and the thing is, it was 80% MY things. ALL of my MAC makeup from my wedding, hair products, curling iron, tooth brush.. you name it.
and they left it on the floor in the laundry room! Needless to say, this was the first time she was ever grounded.
